Did you catch the episode of TV Funhouse (Caveman Day) where the chicken's brother had tourettes? "Cock-a-doodle-fuckin'-do!"

That was a good show. Way back when there was still comedic gold to be plundered.

My soundcard is fucked--I can't hear anything on my computer. So I don't know what's going on in this clip.

But I do know that my dream man would allow me to triple dog dare him to pretend he had Tourette's as we were in public. It's a fantasy of mine to go on such a date. I'm picky and maybe look for weird attributes in men--you don't have to be good looking you don't have to give me flowers you just have to be fun enough to pretend you have Tourette's in public. I'm that kind of chick.

UR, have your romantic fantasies perhaps been affected by too many screenings of "Duece Bigalow, Male Gigolo"? [:D]

Was it just me, or did it seem to others like this girl was acting?

I know that Tourette's really exists of course, but it seemed a little too conveeenient that she could have a little outburst of the N-word and then say, yes, that's what I'm talking about.

That's the thing. How come there isn't a tourettes where someone says good things? Why does it always have to be bad words?[}:)]

XXX you cracked me up. I've wondered that myself. I once invited a friend over for dinner and his date faked tourettes. He dumped her shortly after. She and I are still hug and kiss kiss when we run into each other at concerts.

Why is her voice completely different when she's blaring out racial slurs?

The Tourette's dude who works at the local Target just barks. You know, like a dog.

You'd think a store that employs a person with Tourette's would banish them to the stock room. But, no, not Target. They put him right out at the cashiers station to cause scenes, upset customers and frighten children. Let's hear it for equal rights!

Yes, I was thinking the same thing... what if she spewed out words like "banana" or "rope" or "acorn." We aren't born knowing innapropriate words, so why do people with Tourettes shout out those choice words?
