Well the U.S. officially released security footage of the Pentagon hit today and it looked convincing to me.
Actually it looked like the WTC hits which were strange-looking but are about as well-documented as you can get. I watched the WTC hits today and it's almost as if the planes just dissolve into the buldings (but considering jet fuel is about the hottest burning substance on earth that would make sense). I'm wondering now if our "concept" of what a plane would look like being flown into a building at that velocity has been corrupted by movie special effects. I'm expecting giant fireballs and wreckage showering all over the place but instead I'm seeing "poof" and then gone followed by a fire. It's odd because the hole in first tower looks pretty small too at first but I just watched a plane fly into it on live TV.

Very weird and usettling. Still not numb to all this.

I bet now they will say the government had enough time to make a really good fake video.[:(]

Oh please let me say that Philly. The tape of the doubters is equally suspect.

There are 2 big planes that disintegrated on impact. I've watched several big plane crashes and this doesn't happen. Of course none of those pilots crashed at full speed and they were doing everything they could to not crash. Even so I don't think you can crash a 747 and have nothing left but hand holdable chunks.

Another thing that's been bugging me, each of the towers was hit at a different angle and in a different place but they fell in an identical pattern, straight down as did a third building that wasn't even hit. It’s not credible.

Well, the towers fell that way because of their construction. By completly severing them, and melting the beams, they could only fall that way. I really don't mean to get into it with any of you, you too stella, you all have your own ideas and I'm not about fighting on these boards anymore. I'm the new and improved Philly. But I did see the planes hit the towers with my own eyes.Planes hit them, then as the fires spread and melted everything, they fell apart.

Be careful, philly. Using common sense to back up your statements can get you in trouble here.

I'm quite disappointed in that footage. I was hoping for something more. That footage has been floating around the internet for quite some time now. It still looks like a missile to me with no footage of wings and a tail. Also a quote from Donald Rumsfeld in an interview with Parade magazine on the 12th of October 2001 from inside the Pentagon. - "Here we're talking about plastic knives, and using an American Airlines flight filled with our citizens, and the missile to damage this building and similar (inaudible) that damaged the World trade center."

Conspiracy theorists have tons of well documented stuff to impeach, just look at the documentary "LOOSE CHANGE".All this info explained to a T and the Bush administration stays vague, all in the name of National Security? Where was that National security when Clinton was impeached?? And please do not say the war with Iraq cause that didn't matter to Republicans when Clinton was impeached & Bombed Iraq in "Operation Desert Fox" back in December 1998.

It is credible for the towers (don't know about the third building). They were constructed to collapse from within upon any structural disaster so as not to take out entire neighborhoods if they fell over. PBS aired a lengthy documentary about this architectural design long before 9-11 and then aired a documentary specifically about the WTC collapse.

Exactly! I saw this and it described the unique design in detail.
