Kids and Cars

What can I say? The 2 teens that were killed in a car crash in Lincoln (RI) the other night were friends of my daughters. They were coming home from a sweet 16 party. Damn! Makes you think twice everytime your kid is out in a car.

I didn't hear about this. How did it happen? I'm sorry that it was someone your kids knew.

I'm sorry to hear this. I was much more lucky, having recieved a call just 2 months after my son got his drivers license and hearing he smashed into a light pole going too fast, fortunately no one was seriously hurt but I can't tell you how frightful it was. The car was totalled. He and his friends hopefully learned a lesson that will last a lifetime and I know they realize how fortunate they were.
