Does this A-Hole have any fans left out there? Everytime he opens his mouth or shows up anywhere he is "way out there. He has entered Micheal Jackson territory. I am looking for a fan that can defend his actions, words and CRAPPY movies.

Tom Cruise did an excellent job in the movie "The Last Samarai (2003)" As for how he lives his personal life, I could give a rats ass. I love watching movies, as long as Tom Cruise doesn't play "himself" in a movie, I'll probably watch it.

He may not be my favorite butI like his acting and he is in lots of great movies... So he says weird thing and believes in scientology but so what! At least he doesn't hear voices and he is not hurting anybody. Lots of famous people say weird things but Tom Cruise seems to get more attention because the media for some reason tends to focus alot on him and the general public eats it all up and regurgitates and force feeds these narrow and hateful views back to us.

His movies SUCK!! He is a horrible actor, even if he wasn't weird he still has little range. He was horrible in The Outsiders and he NEVER got better.

Ditto to what Swampy said. I kinda perversely love that he's riled so many people up. I really don't care.

Conversely, I actually disliked him a lot more in the past when he was so popular. I thought "Is this pissy shrimp the future of leading men in Hollywood?!" To me, he heralded in a poor era of pretty boy lightweights like Brad Pitt and Jude Law. What happened to the big leading man?

Also for a supposedly big-time actor, he's been in preciously few really good movies. "Risky Business" of course. Maybe "Born on the 4th of July"? All the rest seem to have this same sense of self-conscious self-serving self-parody that drives me nuts. I can't stand his amateurish posturing in lieu of actual acting in stuff like "Rain Man", "A Few Good Men", and "Jerry Maguire".

Look instead to someone like Johnny Depp, who has taken pretty boy charm and created a body of work with great artistic merit, and just ignore this hack.

I don't care about his actions or words, although I hope that Katie will wake up one day and think "what the fuck have I done?" He's certainly not going to convince anyone that isn't a complete idiot already to switch to Scientology.

I did like Collateral and Minority Report.

I don't think he has any fans left.

Speaking of posturing in lieu of acting, how about Top Gun??? It's revolting. I've seen that crappy film WAY more times than is healthy. And everytime I hear Danger Zone and You've Lost That Loving Feeling I want to hurl. The only reason to watch it is to see a really young Meg Ryan and Anthony Edwards.

I liked Cruise in Risky Business, though.
