Have you ever had anyone pull up beside you at a traffic light blasting out some new wave tunes? Not just the stuff you hear all the time from the 80's radio stations, I'm talking about stuff you know is from a cd. I can honestly say in the past 8 years I have resided here in Louisville this has yet to ever occur. But others here in Louisville cannot say the same, I let them enjoy my music at the traffic stops all the time.

Nope, Only if it`s my tunes echoing off of the other cars. [:D]

I once heard "Explosions" by Devo. That really freaked me out. Actually it was blasting out of a house not a car. But still not a song I ever thought I'd hear out of my room...

No, but as i pulled into a gas station and exited my car a guy pumping gas asked what station was playing the Virgin Prunes. It was "Baby turns Blue". I told him it was a CD and he said he hadnt heard that song in ages so i gave him the CD which was a mix i made of a bunch of old stuff. He was very happy. As I drove away, happy that i could share music, I cringed when I realized that the last song on the CD was "Code Blue" by TSOL [:(] Hopefully he liked punk too [;)]

The answer is no. I've never really heard anything that grabbed my ear from another car....I always check out who is driving a car with a cool sticker on the back though. And I dont mean a fucking NIN sticker. on a separate topic--I miss the REAL ole school new wave chicks, when it was a risk to look different....(not the young store bought kind from Hot Topicx)...sigh.

We're still here! I had pink and blue hair in the eighties, man! I remember once I stopped in to say hi to my sister who worked in the mall but she was on break when I got there. When she got back, she was told, "Oh shit you missed it man! This total freak with purple lizard pants and pink and blue hair and combat boots came in here! You should have seen this freak!!"

She knew without being told. "Yeah. That's my sister."[:D]

I have never heard ANY music I like coming from a car next to me. Mainly because I don't like rap & r&b turned up so loud everything around you vibrates.

Funny thing that I just pulled into the Cambridgeside Mall a couple hours ago in Boston to the tune of some horrific rap THUMPING from the car tailing me through the parking structure RIGHT on my ass! Like I'm supposed to be going 60mph in there, picking off moms and carriages. I'm shaking my head at the sad state of humanity when...

I pull into the mall itself, and the sounds of New Order's "True Faith" is showering down throughout the whole mall! Not some crap Muzak but the real deal! I am happy! I am ecstatic! I am ebullient! Some hot woman even smiles at me just because I'm smiling too, LOL! Okay, maybe she's thinking "Dork!", but I don't care..."I feel so extraordinary, somethings got ahold on me..." [8D]

I remember at a bar in my not so younger days, getting into kind of a verbal scuffle with this guy. later when we were getting into my car, we saw him walking by with his friends and a little more attitude was thrown ---
