I'm not going to disagree that college students and professors may buy into that kind of conspiracy - I hear several of them every week & I have heard them from people who should know better.

The problem I have is, I can take that list & insert military generals, biologists, hairdressers, trash collectors, or any other group I want to slam because you're bound to find someone within that field who believes it or would consider it. I can change the race & circumstance & you'll find people who buy that too.

That doesn't mean every general or biologist or hairdresser believes it, or is racist - just some.

I'm with you on the point that there is a serious lack of common sense in this world though. I wish people would calm down once in a while & get over this idea that everything was invented to kill you or keep you down.

Wolvie, this is coming from a college graduate...folks need to do whatever they can to take away tenure for college professors. As soon as they get tenure, they feel invincible, and spout whatever insanity comes out of their twisted imaginations (anti-american rants, calls for genocide, hell, you name it). College costs more than ever, so where's the quality control? During the early 90's when I was in college, this kind of loopiness was prevelant...even in the buckle of the Bible belt. If I was a parent of someone ready for college, I'd be very worried. Even Ivy League schools are infested with this kind of shit. Can you imagine a country run by folks who are taught these kind of conspiracy theories and mindless drivel? Jeezus Christ...

Well aside from the guy in Atlanta who killed all the kids and the Sniper dude i cant really think of any other black serial killers, although i wonder about other crimes. This is a quote from this page

Here in the Pacific NW, aka Serial Killer Capital USA, we had a black serial killer who consciously set out to change this discrepancy.

Serial killers are different from the average killer. People of all races usually murder people they know, they murder for profit or rage, with some kind of motive. Serial killers kill strangers, they plan and choose, adhere to rituals and their motives are not really understandable, they're insane, driven. I have a friend with a schizophrenic son and he tells me that it’s primarily a disease of twenty something white males. It happens to others but it’s rare. Whatever insanity serial killers have could work the same way.

Serial killers and the great Pacific Northwest had a love affair going. Seems like a lot of folks from Tacoma have a Ted Bundy connection. My aunt's husband was a Boy Scout with Mr. Bundy and a good friend of mine regularly mowed Bundy's parents' lawn. We also had the Green River Killer up there. Must have been something in the water. Did I miss any others?
