It shows her hung on a cross like Jesus. Am I offended? No and yes. I think she is an old washed up hag that wants to get attention. OK fine, but why not be really bold and insult the muslims?

Come on Philly, you know that bashing Christianity is a requirement for anybody with any slightly left leaning opinion on anything. After all, it takes such enormous skill to hit such a huge target. But I digress. Without knowing the actual context or message of her action, I can't say for sure if she's bashing Christianity or what. For all I know, she's probably trying to help spread the word.

I think it's a good business move for her to utilize a socially accepted exploitable religion to use as part of her image...her "message". On a personal note, I prefer to judge artists on the only criteria for which they're in my line of vision and that's their music. Personal views don't make the music any better or worse in my opinion. Besides, she worked with the Pet Shop Boys on her "Sorry" single release so how bad could she be? [;)]

Even funnier is the reaction that she actually got. It was not what she expected I can tell you that. In todays news: Here are some quotes from the catholics:
1- Its madonna, its pathetic. nothing new
2- catholics are too used to being bashed to react to her bait.
3-she has become irrelevantin her desireto be provocative. she is a caricature, what do you expect?

Oh, I still love her music. I even like the new album.

It's Madonna, yanno? Part of her gimmick is to try and "make a statement." She's the only person I can think of that manages to work in a crucifixion and gyrating on a saddle into the same two hours. I'm Christian and I'm not offended. She gets a big eyeroll from me. I guess I don't get it. I think she's dancing on a fine line between her "statements" and becoming a parody of herself.

Oh shit, now you guys know damm well that i have to reply to this one [:(!]. Okay, i'll be honest with you, i love that old hag to death for 4 reasons, first she's a female, two she's of latin decent, three she's hot, and 4, well... i mean i use to like her because...[?][?] well, she was catholic.
