OK, I took off from work for a dental appointment. When I dropped my kid at school, a mother that is the girl scout leader asked if I was busy today. They were going to a restaurant and a parent never showed up. So now I am watching over part of the troop. Picture 20 7 year olds sitting down to eat. Well besides what you would expect, it was pretty nice. Yes people fought and cried but all in all it was a nice day. The funniest part was when there were not enough seats, I get a seperate table with my 4 year old and another kid. Then one by one most of the kids end up with me at my table with the other parents laughing. Phil? You have earrings? Yes I do. Wow how many? 2 in one ear, one in the other. You had more? I see the holes. Yes. Phil? Yes. You have tattoos? Yes.Can we see? Can I eat my lunch first?

Funny that you ask: today was my 1st day of summer vacation, school having ended yesterday. This sounds incredibly shallow, but I mini-rewarded myself and bought some clothes and shoes. Everything was on the clearance rack or on sale. Awesome !
Brought my Duster to the mechanic for the carbuerator (sp). The timing seems off.
Also been planning my Vegas weekend--can't wait. I'll make sure to take an incriminating pic or two of myblirwin and MAS and the rest of us.

Got up early.
Turn on the TV...the video of Munich by Editors was on.
Took the train to university.
Calculus class... marks were given... I've passed the exam.
Returned home.
Had a late lunch.
Listened to some New Order and Yeah Yeah Yeahs while doing calculus exercises.
Drank mate (typical argentinian drink, sth like tea)... mmmm... good!!! [:)]
Watched The OC.
Had dinner.

So it was a pretty quiet day I'd say.

Woke up at 5am, ran for an hour, went off at the punching bag for a 1/2 hour, took a long shower, ate a grapefruit, woke up the boys at 8am, watched some kick-ass Warner Bros. cartoons for about an hour, logged on to the NWO and threw out my usual dose of inane comments (repeat every hour), cleaned up the shop, drove the boys over to my buddy Brian's place (Brian is taking my boys and his kids to Dollywood), headed to the UPS hub to pick up my weekly shipments, drove back to the store and busted ass for the next hour getting the books and various goodies ready for the other stores to pick up, opened for business at 12pm, between 12pm and 7pm everything was a blur (as usual for Wednesdays), closed shop at 7:15-ish, headed to the gym and did the usual routine for Wednesdays (squats), swam for an hour, just got back home and should be expecting the boys back anytime. Yep, just another ho-hum day.

This reminds me of primary school tasks.... they made you write about your day. And I was such a bitch as a kid that I returned like 13 pages of my day... and my teacher used to ask: Are you gonna make me read the 13 pages??? Yes!!!! [:D]

That sounds awesome philly - I love hanging around with kids - for a little while! They always want to hang with me too - I love it.

I somehow finished a 3 & a half day training in only 2 days - so i had to pull something out of my ass today. I actually made it work & came up with some good stuff. I have a really good group here - I love these multiple day, out of town trainings.

I ended early. I've been dying to visit a used record store here called Last Vestige - so I drove around until I found it...and it was AWESOME!!!! It was so cool to dig through racks & racks of records again. Although don't ask me what I bought - it's all a blur! (or is it a Blir?)

Hung around the hotel for a while, grabbed my co-trainer & went out to dinner and then we watched American Idol & ate Haagen Dazs.

Tomorrow - end the training early, drive back Syracuse and take Friday off! Life is good!!!!

Nothing out the ordinary here. Got up, got the kids on the bus and went to work. Got off work, grabbed pizzas for dinner, and now here I sit, waiting for Top Chef to come on.

Up at 9:30 AM

• My lawyer called me and needed me to photograph an article in today's AZ Republic, so he could disclose it for the trial (scheduled for July 11th) -- so I went out an bought a paper, did a copy shot of the article and emailed him the jpeg.

• I went to the bank to deposit to deposit my $697 federal tax refund and the teller would not allow me to deposit the check, cause my wife's name was on the check, even though she endorsed it, but she was not there in person and her legal (last) name is not Coogan, it's Simon, and since she was not there standing next to me with 2 pieces of id, I could not deposit the check -- not to mention the fact that I have been banking with Bank of America since 1994 and have a joint savings account with my wife -- what a stupid pain in the arse!

• Called a couple clients to make sure the received the final photo (tif) files I uploaded via yousendit.com -- they did and were very happy.

• I went to physical therapy for my calf -- this is the 12th week and I think I'm almost 100% and so does the PT -- hopefully only need a week or two more -- I'll keep doing the home stretching even after the official PT is complete. It's nice to be back to running, even if it's not the same mileage or intensity as I use to run last year -- I think I'll be back at it with in the year.

• Late afternoon till about 10PM I had a job photographing a corporate event at a race track (Firebird) here in Phoenix -- they had a construction company with all the employees (100+) down there, and about 41 of them brought their cars to race them on the 1/4 mile track -- some pretty nice cars too -- the owner of the company brought 4 beautiful cars -- a 69 Camaro, a 50's Chevy, a 61 Corvette, and a Gullwing Mercedes -- that was amazing to see in person.

• Came home and watched some of the American Idol finale on the Tivo.

• Ripped some music to my iTunes playlist:

Springsteen - Born to Run, Darkness on the Edge of Town

Woke up at 6:30 to be at work by 8:00am.
(I take the bus to campus)
I worked from 8am to 12pm.
12pm to 3 pm I had tax accounting classes.
3pm to 9pm I worked.
9pm to 10:30pm I walked home- (the bus doesnt run at night).

I had some wine and watched Comedy Central until 11:30...and went ot bed at 12 after posting some on here.

Then my roomies woke me up at 3am....
because they were drunk- and shook me out of bed- so that I could drink with them.
I went back to bed at 4......

same morning routine- and Im at work again.

Its the sound and feeling of a mutual lust fest between two 15 year olds. "what, no smoking?"

I'm logged in from a Starbucks here in La Jolla California. I'm speaking at UCSD a bit later. Meanwhile, I'm just laughing my ass off (inner monologue of course) at the crowd that's been passing thru this place. You could cast the entire season of "The OC" here in one morning (even tho we're in "The SD"). AMAZING looking women walking in here every second in everything from black cocktail dresses to uber-short tennis skirts, all with Amazonian legs. School kids are coming in for their latte fillup, giving exact 100-word specifications for how their coffee should be built. There's two complete dolts talking about the benefits of joining the local PCA...Prosche Club of America. And everything is meticulously clean. This place is erie. I picture a futuristic Pleasantville, where behind the drak gleaming glass of the perfect office buildings, overlords watch over every detail of everyone's life, making sure that no one is stepping out of line or that any undesireables aren't allowed in...except of course to work at the carefully disguised McDonalds.

It's national holiday so i don't have to go to univ
Woke up and had breakfast...ate some yummy "pastelitos" (a typical pastry prepared for patriotic ocassions).
Wacthed The Cure's trilogy DVD.
Had lunch.
Took a shower while listening to the radio.
NWO and listening to Duran Duran. [:D]

OK, today--when I was supposed to be off, when I was going to sleep in late, watch TV most of the day and then actually clean house before making a nice dinner--I spent it at the freaking hospital with Mr. BMG. He's going to be fine, but my ass may never recover from sitting in a hard plastic chair for 6.5 hours.

Ugh.

I guess on the bright side, Mr. BMG gets to have a private nurse [}:)]

I went to the zoo yesterday. It was a lot less fun than it used to be. My gf had to drive an OAP/FAT motorised scooter because she hurt her foot, that was the best laugh all day!

I went to the beach yesterday to enjoy an absolutely perfect 80 degree day. I walked miles on the soft sand, and then at low tide I walked out to an island that can only be reached when the water level is low. Summer weather has finally reached Maine!
