Cool stuff.

We saw a formation of four WW II-era planes apparently doing a practice run while we were chowing down outside the All-American Burger stand in Massapequa yesterday afternoon. Yum!

edit: The planes looked like the ones located in the center of the left photo in 2Nu's post.

I think we will be there tomorrow. I will confirm with you.
It should be great.

I forgot to mention..
My main man <a href="http://www.oracle.com/cluboracle/teamoracle/index.html" target="blank">Sean D. Tucker</a> will be one of the featured airshow performers.
This guy is in an aerobatic league all his own.

um....actually I meant Saturday.

One of the nice things about working in the Coney Island area is that we see this stuff all summer. This weekend coney opens and it should be a great show. The angels usually show up. My building is on the friggin boardwalk. One year one of the jets went right between the buildings. We all thought we were going to die. And to all that go to republic, if you look across the street there is a tiny strip mall next to the golf course. There is a trucking company behind it. I ran that company for years. I was right in your back yard!

When where you working there philly?
I worked in Republic Ops from '97 - '00 and had been going there (to fly & club & the 56th) since the early 80's.

We probably have crossed paths on more than one occasion![:D]

BTW: I was in your neighborhood recently with the wife & kids.

WOW! If you look all the way down the boardwalk you can see my building! And I am visiting the buildings in the picture every day!
I was in Farmingdale from 93 to 98. My office used to look onto a lake. Then around 96 they started filling it in. I bet its not there anymore. They also just put up the movies next to the airport. I would get my coffee in einsteins bagles, and my best friend owned the sky motel down the road. Small world! Have fun tomorrow,
