Analogous to "Vocal"???

It's safe to say that I, and many others here, have been fairly vocal people, ahem. BUT...we're really not! We're not being vocal at all. You can't actually hear me. I'm not voicing anything. I'm typing!
What the hell is the analogous word to vocal but for typing?! [:I]

You are still [i]saying[/i] something, as in communicating ideas through a written medium. You could say you are [i]stating[/i] something, too.
