Seriously, this is bugging me

I've been in Bangalore, India all week. Aside from hearing traditional Indian music, and Western-influenced dance music (some of which is pretty good), I keep hearing Alanis Morrisette's Thank U in my head (Thank U India, Thank U Terror, Thank U Disillousionment etc). Yeah, it make sense since I'm in India, but this has been going on for five days. Enough!
Anyway, I don't expect anyone to reply to this. I just needed to vent.
Toodles,
DG

And, yeah, I've tried the trick of playing the song all the way through in my head to get rid of it but the only lines I can remember are something about frailty, consequence, and transparent dangling carrots. I guess I could look the lyrics up on line, but what fun is that?
Maybe by bringing up some of the inane lyrics of this song up here, I'll pass its curse on to someone else. It'll get stuck in someone else's head and leave mine.
Yeah, jet lag is making me weird.

Thanks, Don. Now I got that song stuck in my head. Misery loves company, doesn't it? That's really why you started this thread, isn't it? I'm on to you.[:p]

I've never heard this gem before. Other than that "You Ought to Know" song by her--which is brilliant, lyrically, if you've just been dumped--I haven't really listened to her. Don't think I'll start now.... [:p]

A very wise choice.

Yeap... it's a good choice. [:D]
Though I have to say that "You oughta know" kicks ass... I'd so do a kind of gothy version of it.

It's not goth but it's an improvement on the original at least. You may or may not enjoy ......

Isn't it ironic? Life has a funny, funny way of helping you out.

Thank you all. You've provided much needed comic relief. The curse was lifted, until I read what you posted to this thread. Now I have Ironic and Thank U alternating. It's the curse of the curse.
Thanks for the 1,000 Mona Lisas. I have a very eerie version of Univited by some a cappella group, which I'll post when I get back home. And the curse will continue. BwaaHaaaHaaaHaaa!
