I know.. I know.. <a href="http://www.blender.com/guide/articles.aspx?id=786" target="blank">yet another worst of list..</a>

But the slam captions are right on..AND FUNNY!

I can definitely live without this batch of mostly wretched tunes (60's - 00's).

And take a guess which one (talked about plenty here @NWO) tops the list!

P.S. There's another equally entertaining <a href="http://www.blender.com/guide/articles.aspx?id=466" target="blank">top 50 list of 'worst musical artists..EVER'</a>

WARNING: Not for the critically squeamish..they do slay some 'Sacred Cows' and you know the saying.. they DO make the best hamburger![}:)][:D]

and here is what Justin has to say about this list ...

50. - Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On - I can't tell you how overplayed this song was, complete crap, and to think it made people actually cry? hm? was it the Titanic factor of it all? To be honest, this song hasn't passed my mind in years and so glad to see it made this list

49. - Right Said Fred - I'm Too Sexy - ugh ... yeah, yeah I'm too sexy for my car, my television, my income tax, my homework, i'm too sexy to say this song sucks! oh wait, this song does suck, and you don't even have to be sexy to know it

48. - The Beatles - Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da - eh, this wasn't one of my favorites, and can see why it made the list, I prefer 'Lovely Rita'

47. - Bryan Adams - The Only Thing That Looks Good on Me Is You - talk about crap, I so far totally agree with this list, I don't mind Bryan Adams in the '80s, but this song ruined his career

46. - NKOTB - Hangin' Tough - mainstream teeny boppin' crappy crap

45. - Ja Rule Feat. Ashanti - Mesmerize - da hell is this?

44. - Meat Loaf - I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That) - ok, this song wasn't that bad, does it deserve to be on this list? no, I don't think so

43. - Uncle Kracker - Follow Me - ew! again overplayed boring radio garbage

42. - Simon & Garfunkel - The Sounds of Silence - this song should have been silent, it would have been better

41. - Billy Joel - We Didn't Start The Fire - love this song, a great song about history, this is a shock to see this on the list

40. - Color Me Badd - I Wanna Sex You Up - Well, they got something right, "badd" is the correct answer

39. - Ricky Martin - She Bangs - again, overplayed nonsense! hate it!

38. - Rednex - Cotton Eye Joe - good song, but I can see why it made the list

37. - Gerardo - Rico Suave - more like rico crappie

36. - Master P Feat. Silkk, Fiend, Mia-X AND Mystikal - this, whatever this is! has a better ranking than Meat Loaf and Billy Joel, wtf?

35. - R.E.M. - Shiny Happy People - agreed to being one of their worst

34. - Dan Fogelberg - Longer - I have no idea what this song is, so I guess it sucks enough to be on this list

33. - Aqua - Barbie Girl - notice all bad songs came out in the '90s - a very weak decade I must say

32. - Will Smith - Will 2K - I spoke to soon, I love him as the Fresh Prince, but what was he thinking?

31. - Crash Test Dummies - Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm - more like Eww Eww Eww Eww

30. - Whitney Houston - Greatest Love Of All - yeah, this song sucked!

29. - Deep Blue Something - Breakfast At Tiffany's - eh, what can I say about this song, I suppose it was alright, I mean, if you like songs that are um ... like this

28. - John Mayer - Your Body Is A Wonderland - k, crap!

27. - Europe - The Final Countdown - no way! this song is great! I'm sorry but this is a great song from you know A GREAT DECADE

26. - The Doors - The End - I wish this was the end ...

25. - Puff Daddy Feat. Faith Evans And 112 - I will be the first to admit I like this song, and this doesn't belong on this list

24. - Five For Fighting - Superman - Superman always sucked! why write a song about him

23. - Corey Hart - Sungless At Night - No! I love this song, although sometimes I get it confused with "Sweet Dreams" again, this song doesn't belong here

22. - Toby, good 'ol Toby - HATE THIS SONG!

21. - Spin Doctors - Two Prince - wtf? this song is a masterpiece

20. - Lionel Richie - Dancing On The Ceiling - again, a good song, not great, but it doesn't belong here

19. - Mr. Mister - Broken Wings - is it just me? or are the songs getting better towards the end of this countdown?

18. - Chicago - You're The Inspiration - OH WOW! I didn't expect to see this song, I am loving these, 4 good songs in a row, something is strange

17. - Hammer - Pumps And A Bump - k, back to the crap yay!

16. - 4 Non Blondes - What's Up - that's what I would like to know

15. - The Rembrandts - I'll Be There For You - FRIENDS THEME - AH! yes this does belong on this list, I don't care if this is Danny Wilde's idea of a group, this still sucked

14. - Bette Midler - From A Distance - crap!

13. - Genesis - Illegal Alien - great song! this was sadly put down by a lot of fans

12. - The Beach Boys - Kokomo - yeah, this song does get boring

11. - Clay Aiken - Invisible - at first, before I heard this song I thought it was a Alison Moyet cover ... yeah right

10. - Paul McCartney And Stevie Wonder - blah!

9. - Madonna - American Life - yeah this was one of her worst, I do agree on that

8. - Eddie Murphy - Party All The Time - NO WAY! a song I love to spin, this doesn't belong here

7. - AGREED! I don't even want to type this shit out

6. - Huey Lewis And The News - The Heart Of Rock 'n' Roll - I liked some of his stuff, I guess, but this song was bad!

5. - Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby - yeah this was a flop!

4. - Limpbizkit - however you spell this crap?

3. - Wang Chung - Everybody Have Fun Tonight - I admit it does get boring, but I don't think it belongs here

2. - CRAP, CRAP and more CRAP

1. - well, sorry this song rocks ... we built this message board on new wave music [:D]

Those fukken retarded retards listed Japan as one of the worst bands?! Their opinions on music are null and void.

Hooters at #32 and Howard Jones at #20? Granted The Hooters were a one album wonder but i still listen to their "Nervous Night" cd to this day. Howard did some great work in the 80's, haven't checked out any of his newer work, but underserving of a spot on this list.

That list of worst songs and commentary is HILARIOUS--and spot-on ! I like that part about "the percussion played by a crateful of ADD-afflicted chimpanzees" in "She Bangs". Thanks for a good laugh.[:D] I agree with every single inclusion w/ the exception of "The End" by the Doors. Simon & Garfunkel is a puzzling addition, as well. BUT "Two Princes" IS a horrible song; I'd successfully shoved it from my memory until today.....augh!!!

Felt the second link was overly kind on Howard.

My gosh, those captions were funny. So many of those songs do deserve to be on there.
