We only have to put up with this buffoon till his term expires December 31st. Why don't they approach someone like Colin Powell as his successor?

I vote Phillyidol. Two benefits, 1) he's a short commute from there already so we can save on the relo package and 2) no one can scream DEVO! better than the Philmeister.

The next guy will be just as ineffective. With America against world peace no one can accomplish anything.

We're not against world peace inasmuch as we're apparently for assinine generalities.

Ineffective is correct. They are corrupt and do not actually do much at all. All they do is point fingers and nobody listens. They say Israel is going too far. Too far? But its ok for all the other countries to lob rockets into Israel every day?
Thanks Blir. I think the world actually needs a guy like me to point out how stupid they are being. I would be glad to talk to all parties equally.

He then could deploy a UN peacekeeping force in his yard to combat his nemesis the squirrels.

[/quote] Ya, but their a really bad shot, last I heard, they fired over 1000 rockets and killed what, 25 Israelis? The fact that Hezbollah rockets have been largely ineffective, and Israelis killing more and more (innocents?) every day, Isreal is loosing the PR battle.

I agree with Stella, the next guy will be as innefective so that he can be moved as a puppet by most countries.

I did't expect the UN to do much about what is happenning between Israel-Lebanon (I think the UN and it's equivalent before it was created have never really done anything to prevent wars from starting or to avoid massacres, etc)... and now I see they are doing nothing at all [V]

It seems those rockets technology hasn't improved much since the USSR army used them in WWII.

The UN is such an impotent waste of money. No one listens to them, and anyone with any agenda of their own never will. The securities council may have been neccessary during the cold war, but aside from that, it's a lot of pomp and no substance.

I'm fairly certain that "World Peace" will never happen unless one country conqueres and subdues the rest of the world, at which point, "peace" becomes a relative word.

World peace will only be accomplished if humans die out or evolve.
