Can you believe this? Sunday night my girlfriend is sitting in front of her house with her 4 month old Yorky, smoking. We live way off the beaten path on a dead end street. So a white car with those spinning hubcaps comes down the street and a young black guy asks for directions. They leave and than come back and a Chicano woman gets out of the car and says we're still lost could you draw us a map and when Nancy turns her back to get a map they snatch her 2000.00 dollar dog.

She will be racial profiling from now on.

Hopefully it was microchiped, and if it is ever taken to a vet with the scanning technology it might get returned.

Y'all can laugh at Stella's Virginia Slim's puffing friend, but this can devestate some folks. One of my friends pedigree chichuaha...oh, however it's spelled, y'know...those rat dogs...was stolen out of his car a while back. He went in to pay for his gas, and came back with fido MIA. His wife went into a deep depresion that lasted several weeks. The dog was probably sold for a couple hundred dollars (my friend paid a beaucoup for it). I never understood why folks pay so damn much for these animals, but they get attached to the li'l monsters, and it's royally F'ed up for some creep to snatch 'em up like that.

And yeah, Stella's friend should drop the smoking habit. Maybe if she wasn't so distracted by the rich full flavor, she would have done a better job of keeping hold of fido.

I doubt these degenerates were dog afficionados. Don't forget, there's a whole underground (but lucrative) dog fighting-gambling world. And what about the blackmarket for dog meat in certain restaraunts? My heart sinks at the thought of this crime.....

So I guess what you're saying is your Mexican neighbors would do something like that and your comments would be ok with them. Then what if you lived in a "normal" neighborhood ? Would you still make those comments ?
