If it's really spotted, probably like herpes.

Hey UK NWO-ers, explain what's in this stuff (made of). I know it's a desert. Does it even taste good? And how come you call it by that name? [?]
I know I heard this line in a comedy movie before: "Care for some Spotted Dick?" (Or maybe it was an advertisemnt?)

Add that to "$hit on a shingle" for badly-named foods. C'mon, just change it already.
Ah yes the British love bad food.

I thought of Wikipedia last night, just not enough time to look up Spotted Dick...
Leave it to the English (and all of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) to eat this "FUNKY" pudding (?), that includes the food favorite of Suet - which is "raw beef or mutton fat, especially the hard fat found around the loins and kidneys." - no Suet for me, thank you!
But, you know what, now I want to try it, anyway... [:0] I think I've seen those Heinz cans in World Market-Cost Plus store(s), and maybe my local pub is making this Spot. Dick! [:)]

Bear in mind that in the UK, there is also a dish called "Cock Soup." Don't believe me, look it up.
