Posted: Wed Sep 20, 2006 10:32 pmMy brother and I used to shop there frequently in the late 70s, as we lived several miles away. Back then it was a goldmine for import singles from The Jam, Elvis Costello, Clash, etc.
I still have a Looney Tunes T-shirt. At a Stray Cats concert I held it up and Brian Setzer recognized it and gave it a thumbs up. Obviously he knew about the store since he grew up nearby. Its nice to see that it is still thriving.

Posted: Thu Sep 21, 2006 6:33 am"Sounds" in New York (located at St. Marks) has been probably open for at least 20 years if not more. They also still carry some vinyl.
