Loved it. It's the only new show I've been looking forward to.

I'm glad to hear that it's a hit.

They moved the plot along pretty nicely. I really hope that's the last we see of escaped convicts (like there aren't any more roaming around.) I wasn't thrilled with that plot twist in the pilot.

Although I'm really liking to show, I really hope they lay off the idea that Skeet Urlich can do everything - drive a school bus with a leg wound, do a tracheotomy, organize a fall out shelter, shoot with perfect aim, know all about dynamite & how to set charges so they'll only seal off the entrance to a mine.

It's funny, because I buy that the black guy knows all about bombs & fallout & morse code, etc...but not Skeet.

By the way, I think the black guy is with the government - and had advanced word on what was going to happen.

It's been a month since the first post in this topic. I gotta say that overall, I'm disappointed with the show.

It'd be really nice if the show depicted life in post-apocolyptic in rural America, but instead we get a very special episode of Lassie in which <strike>Lassie</strike> Skeet helps to save a kid from burning in a library. We didn't even get to see if any more cities got nuked.

Blah.

Yeah, it is moving a bit slow for my liking, but since there are always very few shows that I am intrigued by I'll give it a little more time. Hate giving up on a show with a good premise just because they start out slow because many times they pick up steam and eventually kick ass. For example, I came very close to giving up on Invasion last year--glad I stuck with it cause it totally rocked by the end of the season.

From what I've heard, the first few episodes are slow & more viewer friendly. After that the show is supposed to take a much darker turn. I hope so.

Supposedly the network was worried that viewers wouldn't want a dark show about nuclear apocalypse...

I loved Invasion! *sniff* Too bad it went away. yeah, it got kind of slow in the middle there, but then it picked up again at the end, and those last scenes were chilling!
