MTV 2, is it any better?

Postby Mechi » Thu Sep 21, 2006 7:35 am

I'm really curious about the existence of this alternative to regular MTV. Of course, we don't have it here in Latinamerica... so that's why I'm asking about it.
Questions:
1. Do they show videos most of the time (cos MTV doesn't)?
2. What kind of videos do they put on (artist, periods)?
3. Do they make specials dedicated to bands or to movements?

If someone could explain all of this, I'd be very grateful. [:)]

Sorry Mechi, I only watch vh1 when they show the classic stuff. They had a whole hour dedicated to the Clash the other night with all thier videos and interviews and shtuff. Man, Mick Jones looks old and i couldn't understand a word he was saying [;)][:D]

<p align="justify">Fuckno. It's the same shit: Jackass, Laguna Beach, Pimp My Ride, a bunch of Rap and Emo videos, and that's about it.

Yuk, I swear that more than two hours of MTV per day make me feel really stupid.
Luckily, there's "Rock and pop TV" here. Nice channel... today tehye had a pretty nice selction of Next Wave in their morning section: Hot Chip, The Strokes, Franz Ferdinand. I appeared once in one of their shows... hehe, they showed images of the audience of a pretty cool indie festival organised last year.
