I'm just a posting maching, today

We'll folks I've seen the first network primetime show I've gone out of my way to see in years: Heroes. I heard it was going to be a melanage of Unbreakable and X-Men and it didn't disappoint. Now as long as they don't take 3 years to get where they are going...I like. Besides what show can go wrong with an opening scene of Ali Larter in her undies [;)]

Anyone else see it or care??

Saw it and really hope this one goes somewhere. Too may series that I started watching and thought showed promise...just quit, no explanations or and end, but just stopped. This show kind of reminds you of "Crash" the way the lives are and will intertwine. Shows promise.

Saw it a couple months ago. Don't really care. The premiere got some big-ass 18-49 ratings, though -- that I'll give it. No idea if they'll hold, but I'm glad it outperformed "Studio 60 on the West Wing Strip." Could that show BE more overwritten?

I thought it was alright. I loved the Japanese guy & the cheerleader characters. The others - we'll see. I didn't like "she-hulk, stripper woman".

I didn't expect the brother to fly!

I Agree WS about the Stripper/Evin Super twin character, and I also didn't expect the "straight-arrow" brother to fly. The Japanese guy who teleports is interesting--apparently he can go anyplace he thinks about---what's the limit? Mars?

Time will tell on this show. but I'll hang on for a few weeks

Dan, I've been trying for a Melange a Trois for years, but no luck....[:p]

I wonder about the brothers - maybe I'm missing something. Does only one fly & not the one who really wants to? That would really suck. I hope they both do.

I saw this and hope that my heartrate will someday calm down. Holy Moly, so many moments caught me totally off guard and freaked me out. The food disposer scene?????? The shoulder dislocation???? The ending flying brothers scene???? The artist/seer scene gave me creepy tinglies. Stipper/killer girl- I hope that one developes a little better, I don't get it yet. Is that her toughgirl alter-ego in the reflections? I do like the Japanese time-traveler kid. He has a good personality so far.

Wow - I think this pilot did live up to the hype and exciting commercial teasers.

If you wanna watch it, go to http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/

Just watched it on the DVR and I was really impressed. I thought it was a lot of fun. It's got potential.

There's already an entry for it on wikipedia (including a table that lists characters & their powers):

I liked it. Since the demise of "Buffy" I've relied on "Veronica Mars" for my sassy teenage girl/snappy writing fix, but after watching Heroes" I realize I must have been jonesing for the superhero element too.

I like it. I thought the characters acted mostly realistically, were a little on the humble side, and it was a good set up for how their characters' lives will intertwine.
I'll give it a chance. Not much else to watch.

NBC's answer to "The 4400." I thought it was pretty good. I'm interested in future stories.

I really liked the second episode a lot. It's nice to be able to keep track of so many characters & actually like them. I like a lot of the peripheral characters that joined in this week too. I was pretty intrigued by the police officer - I want to see what happens with him. I liked the stripper-she-hulk better too.

There was some pretty disturbing stuff though!
