Just saw "The Departed." This movie utterly kicks ass! Best thing I've seen in a long time. Anyone else see it yet?

It was sold out when I tried to go Sat nite. Argh! Saw Black Dahlia instead. Ick...a very mannish Hillary Swank and one of De Palma's misses rather than hits. Good to hear the good reviews for Departed...decent films seem so few and far between.

I watched it last week. It was so-so for me. Something I should have watched on video, not at the moviehouse with the missus.

Interesting Fact: "The Departed" is an American remake of a Chinese film called "Infernal Affairs" I've seen "Infernal Affairs" it's an amazing movie, and I highly doubt that "The Departed" can live up to it, but I've no doubt it's an excellent movie.
