My brother's favorite bands used to be Depeche Mode and...KISS? Yes! I could never reconcile the two. Anyway, as much as I tried not to listen, I couldn't help but get sucked in. These days, well, I must admit I do rather enjoy their early stuff. Hell, my bro and I even got backstage once and I have a t-shirt signed by the band. I hope this admission doesn't get me kicked off the board!

The big turn-off for me with KISS is when Gene Simmons constantly reminds us that all he wanted was money and every move the band ever made was driven by commercial reasons.

Ace was my favourite. His solo album was the best.

I have a greatest hits cd. I think that is all I need from KISS.

Kiss was my first concert ever, in 1976. I still have the ticket stub.I don't think I own any discs but I still want to rock and roll all night [;)].

I saw a great movie that was all about these kids getting to a kiss concert. It was a really good movie too. Cant remember the name.

Awwwwwwhahahaha. That's cute. I'm a sucker for the furry animals. KISS on the other hand, not so much...although I am sure they are quite furry as well.

Thats it! thanks man. That movie was funny and I did not expect it to be. I loved when the rockers are driving in front of the disco heads in the camaro or firebird. They were listening to I think "makin it" and the rock kids throw a pizza at them. That movie really nailed the description of disco heads.

Yeah, DRC brought back alot of memories. What a riot that flick was! I went through a little bit of a Kiss phase when I was young. I had quite a few of their albums on 8-track and their solo albums too. I even had a Gene Simmons doll [:I]

Loved KISS in the 70's(1st concert in 1978) loved em' in the 80's, 90's and still today.

Yep, first concert 78', seen them twice in the 90's. Only like their 70's output however. Favorites are Alive I, and Alive II, which I found out later were altered in the studio to fix all the mistakes [:0]

I also went through a major Kiss phase circa 1978-79 . . . after the Bay City Rollers but before the KISW phase.

"Cold Gin" is still one of my favorite songs. [:D]

My first concert also, saw the Destroyer tour in 1976. Loved their stuff back then but what red-blooded kid in middle America didn't? I was even a member of the Kiss Army! I still have their comic book from back then and if I ever get hard up, I guess I can sell it on Ebay. Last time I looked they were going for $75 - 100. Hated them from 1980 on, then rediscovered the early stuff agin in the 90s. They're still a blast to listen to, bringing back fun memories.
