My apologies in advance in case someone has posted this topic already...I've been away for a few months so I am not up to speed on things...anyway, I thought it would be cool to share our My Space pages with each other, so I'll get the ball rolling with mine:

My friends and I are way too old and square for that stuff.

But here in my gritty hometown the cops have found it to be useful crime-fighting tool. When a gangbanger gets whacked, his MySpace page is the first place the cops look. http://www.thenewstribune.com/news/stor ... 1349c.html

P.S. This guy was a real prize--just the kind of person you want to meet on an internet networking site:

I though only teenage girls did myspace.

What was funny I found that I registered for MySpace in 6/2000 when it was a online storage site much like you send it is today. I had a whooping 5 megs of space, ooooohhhhhh

Actually just about every band that ever existed has a page, which what I mainly use it for. A duo going by the name "As UR" mailed me a copy of their cd so I could feature it on my radio show...from New Zealand! So it's a great tool to find bands that I would have never discovered otherwise. (Plus Phil Judd sent me a message when I asked to be added to his friends list, which just made my friggin' week!)

...but my 14 year old daughter was freaked out when she found out I had a page...she said I was too old. Then she and her friends checked out my page and pronounced it "gay" (every damn thing is "gay" according to my kids) Pffft! I told her the correct term for me is "metro". I showed her! [:o)]

I really think I am too old for one, too. But, my friends and I, who are scattered all over the U.S., made pages and communicate through them. It's sort of silly, but it's fun, and for some reason, we're better about keeping in touch that way than we are by phone or email. Go figure.

Wow, you are good!!! I particularly like "TV Minds", "Cola Wars", and "Legion of woodboards"!

Oh, and "Pussy whipped", "Pearly Worm Hole", and "Condomnation"???! LOL! Interesting titles, yay![:D]

I only registered for myspace just so I could view my friends' profile. I don't upload anything on it.

That was a really twisted read.....
I remember reading it for the first time...and then I read it again.

Twisted.

I thought the same thing--them and pedophiles. Now we can add outposters to the list?[:o)]
