I loved Ted Knight in this series and in Caddy Shack.
I was young when TCFC aired and never really knew about the whole gay thing with Monroe. I always wondered why he didn't go for Lydia Cornell. I also remember him having a girlfriend on the show, at least for a while. I guess I should read the interview.
