Not what I usually post, but what the hell...


I've heard it said that you can gauge the relative importance a society places on an object or idea by how many words for that object or idea exist in that society's languange. (KYYX you're the language expert here--is that an urban legend?)

Of course if this is true than our society places great value on certain body parts of men and women and the various activities to be done with said parts.

So the question is: name an amusing/unusual word/phrase you have heard to name or describe: the phallis

(I'll beat the wags to the punch and ask that NuWaveRx not be in the replies[:o)])

I'll start with the always classy: meat whistle
