My friend went home early, the dog is crashed on the floor & I'm staying up mostly because I feel like I need to. Damn obligation!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Like Steve Miller once said. Time just keeps on slipping into the future. Will it ever slow down. Seems like just yesterday we were all partying like it was 1999.

Happy New Year to all those stuck at work (at least I can stick my head out the window and look at other people enjoying themselves).

Ghosty, I worked the graveyard shift as a night auditor for four years, so I understand your sentiments. I spent some NYEs working while the parties were literally feet away from my desk.

Now? I'm getting older, I guess. [:)] I fell asleep on the couch at 11pm. MrsGately woke my at 11:45 and I stayed awake until... 11:55. I missed the ball drop, but we got our NY smooch in before I fell asleep again.

Happy New Year, everyone! Hope it's a great one for you and your loved ones!

Oh man, I don't feel happy. My friends are a bunch of drunks, and martinis will kick your ASS. I WISH I felt this good...

Happy New Year everyone!!!
I missed the ball drop by an hour or so. Had some champagne though.

Blir, get yourself a huge glass of chocolate milk, that always helped me when I drank too much. [:p] [:D] [;)]

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE !

Our roads were much too icy and snow-packed and FOGGY to go out, so we didn't get to party like it's 1999. We stayed in, surprisingly made it 'til midnight, and watched that colorful ball drop. I don't think too muany people went out last night--it was too dangerous. New Mexico has, like, 3 snow plows!

Happy New Year!

The Mr. and kids and I watched the fireworks and by 12:45, I was in bed and asleep. I'm turning into such an old fart.

2007 is here. Just think in three years from now we'll be in a new decade, and looking back at the one we're in now.

Last night I stayed in and recuperated from jet lag after flying the red-eye back from Seattle. My body clock is all kinds of confused. A good friend, a phenomenal meal, blackberry wine from Washington state, and great music--a delightfully low key way to ring in the new year. Happy New Year to you all!
