Seventy degrees here in New York! First week in January! What's the temperature by you?

On the news, they did a story about the East Coast's--specifically NYC's--[i]waaaarm[/i] weather. Bulbs have been coming up and allergies are kicking in! Bananas!
Meanwhile, here, last week's snowfall hasn't melted (it always melts here in a day or 2), they cancelled school until next Monday (!!), and they are air-dropping haybales to the poor stranded cows on the plains, mostly in CO, Neb., and northern NM. Bananas, I tell you!

It's pretty warm here. I have some windows open as I clean up the Christmas decorations. I know, I'm usually the guy screaming about no snow - but it's good today - I'm looking forward to putting the Holidays away & this weather gives me a charge & helps me look forward to spring.
For those of you worried about your bulbs & stuff coming up - they'll be ok. If it gets cold, they'll go dormant again. Although, I don't think stuff will flower as well when spring actually comes.

I went to the Body Worlds 2 exhibit today at the Museum of Science. The temp this morning was a comfy 63 degrees when I left the house. Rained a little, but it turned into a gorgeous spring-like day later, so I took advantage of it and took public transport into Boston. It's January and I'm wearing shortsleeves and summer shoes. Crazy.
