Just read that one of my all time favorite shows is being remade Could be an awesome thing!!!!![:D] OR..it could really suck!!![xx(]

It'll be tough to top the character as played by McGoohan. In fact, the casting for the series as a whole was excellent.

One of my favorites as well.

If history is any guide then it will probably suck. I'm always willing to give them a chance though and hope it doesn't suck.

I just saw that they are remaking The Hitcher. Is it really that old that it needs to be redone. I cant picture anyone doing a better John Ryder than Rutger Hauer. [:(]

I've been hearing that Christopher Eccelston was picked to play the role of Number Six.

Eccelston starred as The Doctor in the highly successful 2005 revival of "Doctor Who."

Eccelston is also going to have a role on NBC's "Heroes".

My information is not confirmed. I heard about it over at scifi.com on their message board. I knew about the "Heroes" role too.

However I think "The Prisoner" revival is still awhile out...like in late 2007 or 2008.
