SoCal Riots
Posted: Thu Jan 11, 2007 3:27 amI know there are quite a few SoCal'ers here and was wondering if anyone was ever caught up in one of the many riots.
I was at the Op Pro surf competion at Huntington Heach in 86 which turned into a major riot. Police cars flipped and burned, fights. I didn't really get scared until I saw the police actually running away only to return in massive numbers in riot formation, shields, helmets. I remember my friend Donny Moya doing a Monty Python and yelling "Runaway" as he ran away. Fun stuff eh?
Anyone else remember this one?
