<p align="justify">I liked Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom Of The Opera. The only problem I had with it was the sword duel between Raoul and Erik at the cemetery - Erik would've easily won that duel because of his brute strength. This is something which is described in the Leroux novel and which makes the "Opera Ghost" a formidable opponent.

"Hillbilly's In A Haunted House" was pretty good for a musical, or whatever the hell it was supposed to be.

I love "Camelot" & "The Music Man". On the bizarre side of that coin, I also love "Forbidden Zone" & "The American Astronaut".

Can't stand musicals. Crap is the most fruity stuff there is. I would rather watch grass grow.

I also can't stand musicals. Schmaltz is the most goofy stuff there is. I would rather grow grass. (or smoke it[;)]).

Wizard of Oz is the ONLY exception, to me. IMO.

I don't think I've ever seen a musical (does "Springtime For Hitler" count?). If not, I think the closest I ever got was an episode of HBO's prison show OZ where the entire episode was done as a musical. It was awful and I couldn't wait to get back to the regularly scheduled murders and sodomy.

I hear ya! They just did a musical Scrubs, and it was painful. We turned it off. I can't imagine OZ done this way!
