As everyone her should know by now--Me Computor Stupid. So--with that said--what the hell is Active X? Is it good or bad? Occasionally an email I get will say run Active X to view the file--yet the screen freezes with that window in place and I need to totally exit out and delete whatever I was attempting to look at. I think Ive read about issues with active x in the past--just not sure.

and how about Direct x --what the hell is that and is THAT an issue as well?
