Went into the garage to get something out of the freezer. I thought my freezer was broken because the stuff i pulled out of it felt warm. It took a few seconds for my brain to process the fact that it was about zero degrees in the garage and around thirty in the freezer, duh.

Reminds me of the sense of disorientation you feel when you've put the car in reverse, but you haven't gone anywhere because you're pressing the brake pedal while you change CDs or yell at the kids or whatever. Then suddenly someone pulls into the space next to you, and it feels like you've rocketed backwards, despite the fact you haven't gone anywhere. I feel like I'm having a heart attack every time that happens.

I walked into work this morning to find that the heating system was blowing cold air. It was 48 in my office. Needless to say, the building closed down around 9:15 because the boilers died over the weekend. Bonus day off!!!!

With that gift, I'm not complaining about cold weather today.

Hmmm. it is 78 and sunny here in Phoenix today. It feels so good.

It was 11 degrees this morning when I took my daughter to school.
And there is no snow in sight. What a waste of cold weather.

the only -4 I can comprehend is a point spread. I could not imagine functioning in temperatures like that. It got down to 50 last week and I had to dig my sweatshirt out of the basement and I considered buying long pants.

Ha! Walked from the truck through the office door. Even though I live a mile away, I'm driving my lazy ass to work, even in the best of weather.

I can't imagine being outside today for more than a few minutes. I think we're around 4 degrees & a windchill around -12. An added thrill...we're getting heavy snow tonight. Yay.

I'm jealous Wolverine.
We haven't had any accumulating snow yet.

I am flying to Rochester NY tomorrow where the temp will be around 17 degrees with winds at 10 to 15 mph. Its suppossed to snow for my flight home on Wednesday! Brrrrrr!!
