Your A La Carte Cable channels
Now I'll preface this by saying I rarely watch TV to begin with. But I know that the debate of whether a la carte cable would actually be cheaper than packaging. However, I can honestly say that of the cable package I have (Dish Network, actually) I watch less than 10% of the channels. So the idea of only paying for the channels I watch is very appealing to me.
So I'll ask the Outpost: Which 5 cable channels would you pay for (assuming you get local/public television for free)? For me...
1. History channel
2. HBO (which I don't get now)
3. VH1 Classic (assuming it's still around)
4. Sci-Fi channel
5. Bomerang
*honorable mention to Spike for the Bond marathons and MXC.
And you??
