And then I wanted to know which courses you have to take there to become a biologist since it seems to be quite different from here. Here is an initial year with a Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Math and 2 social sciences compulsory courses. Then, 3-4 years of compulsory courses that involve: 2 Physics courses, 4 chemistry courses, 3 Math courses, Bothany, Zoology, genetics and Ecology. Finally, 3 years more in which you can choose which courses to take. After that, you get your degree which is not a PHD one. To get your PHD in Buenos Aires University takes between 3and 5 years. Most people get theirs outside the country.
