We only have a 32 inch set but would like to upgrade to a larger HD set in the near future.

By my standards , this is deep and well thought out .

I still have my 31 inch JVC that I bought in '96 or '97. I doubt I'll be upgrading soon, especially since I just killed my satellite subscription

We have a 31 inch "old school" tv we bought in 2001. It still works well, so we see no reason to upgrade yet, BUT:

We recently went to buy new living room furniture and do you know how hard it is to get an entertainment center that fits the regular tv's? They're all built for HD now. Soooo frustrating- it almost forces you to buy a new tv with your furniture purchase (I'm frugal- I hate getting rid of something that works perfectly fine just because a newer style has recently become the trend). Urgh.

Our 20" 1982 Zenith, which we found sitting on a curb in the University area years ago, works perfectly fine for us. We will eventually have to get one of those "digital" patches for this dinosaur in the future when all broadcasts go digital in a couple years.

26 inch HDTV - LCD. My last tv was a 21 inch regular one. I got so tired of the small size, I thought I'd just skip the middleman(27 inch non-HD) and charge an HD one. I like it so far.

Just a basic 27 inch flat sceen.

Have a 55 inch Sony LCD HDTV Widescreen downstairs, and a 36 inch JVC in the bedroom upstairs.

Sony 27" but I want bigger.

Just a 21" JVC Musee Flat Screen. Plasma TV or HDTV or LCD are expensive here. ranges from 50,000 to 150,000 per unit.

48" Toshiba, bought new in 1995 for about 16 or $1,700 -- still looks pretty good, though I must admit to loving the HD flat screens when I visit Costco, so there may be one in my near future.

A couple of weeks ago, my really old TV starting emitting a foul odor. So I got myself a 42" LCD. I don't have a high-def DVD player or cable package, so I'm not getting the most out of the TV yet.

Those HD units sell at Costco for $1,600 to $1,700, just what you paid for the 48-incher 12 years ago. Prices keep falling, want to get one too.

Right now I have a 35" Sony flat screen, and like shovelbum says, this unit will never fit into any new entetainment center, if I ever buy a new one.

We have a 32-inch set we bought about 5 years ago. We've been eyeballing the HD flat screens a lot lately but just haven't wanted to drop the $$$ on one. Yet.
