VoIP Video Phones

Postby zill » Wed Apr 11, 2007 12:59 am

When I was in the UK last week I noticed that VoIP video phones were available in the retail stores at (relatively) reasonable prices. Techies will say, big deal, technology has been around for ages. But for a putz like me, this is a big deal. To me it suddenly seems like we are just around the corner from something that was pure science fiction when I was a young lad. From here the technology can only get better, faster, smaller, and cheaper. And then it will be widely adopted.

Soon we will all be combing our hair before we can answer the phone. We will be able to see the gal we're talking to on 1-900-HOT-PANTS. We can insult the telemarketer about his smarmy goatee. Just think of it!
