Just watched a fantastic Great Performances episode on PBS. Literally about John Lennon's Jukebox, talking about his musical influences and showing those bands' performances intermixed with both artists' and Lennon's comments. Completely fascinating. I highly recommend looking this up on your PBS channel. Next hour is "Paul McCartney: Chaos and Creation at Abbey Road". Not a big Beatles fan (not a hater either [;)]), but this historical stuff is great.

Edit: Well, the McCartney segment is proving to be a lot more self-serving than interesting...what a shock. Meh. Still don't miss the first one though!
