Apologies in advance for the "Americo-centric" nature of this post...
Thanks to the wonders of Netflix, the wife and I have been viewing some of the classic British sit-coms which made it across the pond, and I grew up watching (usually seen on our local public television outlet). Currently we are working are way through the Black Adder series. I was curious as to other Brit-coms the Outpost members enjoy?
Some I quite like:
Fawlty Towers (especially the "Basil the Rat" episode)
The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin
The Young Ones (although I didn't think it nearly as clever as my friends back in the day did..)
Yes, Minister,/Yes, Prime Minister
Rising Damp
Good Neighbors/The Good Life
I also try to catch the "Kumars at No 42" when I can on BBC America
What Britcoms did/do you enjoy? What are the U.K. member's perspective on these or others shows?
