I last dined (not sure that's the right word!) at Beano's in 1993.

It is about 2 rungs down the ladder from Denny's. As far as I now, they are all closed now...the last one in Vancouver proper that I knew of on West Broadway (thankfully) is now a sushi joint.

I remember eating there once after a late night of clubbing. The vinyl seat had been reupholstered but I swear the base and side of the booth had blood stains on them! I think there had been a Vietnamese gang turf war and knifing there a few weeks earlier!

Anyway, it is amazing what you will eat at 3 am. Remember Frescoes on Denman?
