It was 25 years ago today (roughly) that the first commercial cd rolled off a production line in Germany. I've read elsewhere that it was Abba's "The Visitors".

I think the first time I saw a CD was in 8th grade. 1985. I saw this kid at school and he had like three of them. Wow, I thought... this kid is freakin' rich!!
