New single by these guys. I love She Wants Revenge and hope the new album is as great as the last one.

I was pretty crazy about their '06 album at first. I got tired of it really fast though. Kudos to them for making something that sounds and looks so new wave...the whole atmosphere really could have been lifted straight off a Motels or Heaven 17 vid, hilarious. Heck, I'm practically waiting for the chorus "Bela Lugosi's dead..." to break out. I just hope the new album is more diverse track-to-track than the last one.

Like Blir, I loved that 1st album too...[i]at first[/i]. It grew old fast. I do like their sound, but it epitomized derivative to the core.

Pretty hot clip from She Wants Revenge. I doubt MTV will show it uncut like that. SWR are probably my fave of the New Wave revivalists.

<p align="justify">With a coupla exceptions, I pretty much loathe anything from this decade that lifts the sound of New Wave, including this band. It sounds alright listening to it once for the novelty that they're ripping off familiar territory, but "new" New Wave is the equivalent of "new" Coke. This means if you like this tripe, you liked "new" Coke when it first came out. The good thing is that once "new" New Wave is phased out, it will garner more interest in the original recipe[}:)]

The difference is that New Coke didn't give people a choice. At least kids have better music now than the rap-rock which tortured the world years ago. And these groups are creating interest in the old stuff. I can't believe how many twentysomethings are into Echo & the Bunnymen here because of Coldplay's constant name-dropping of them.
