[i]LAS VEGAS - Kanye West says he'll never return to MTV.

The 29-year-old rapper, who was shut out at the Video Music Awards on Sunday night, threw a tantrum in front of media and crew backstage as the MTV show was ending.

West, waiting for an elevator in a crowded hallway, began yelling about losing all five categories for which he was nominated, including male artist of the year.

"That's two years in a row, man ... give a black man a chance," said West, stomping around his entourage and directing his comments at a reporter. "I'm trying hard man, I have the ... No. 1 record, man."

It was the latest outburst from West at an awards show. Last year, he crashed the stage at the MTV Europe Awards after not winning for best video.[/i]

Good riddance to Mr. Class himself. Isn't playing the race card getting a bit old?

GOOD POINT, Clone!!!! Why do some, NOT ALL, hip-hop artist have to bastardise someone elses music....

im not a big fan of hip hop or rap and i especially dont care for modern hip hop and for me thats anything from late 80s till now rap.

but there is something about kanye and diddy that i just reall really despise they both make my skin crawl.
i also hate the whole entrepreneur image thing, i like when musicians were serious and passionate about music and not just people trying to make money any and every way they can.

I was going to watch the MTV music awards thing. But fell asleep and missed the whole thing. Oh well. Guess I wasn't missing out on much.
