I just wanted to post and thank you all for always providing some great info and a good laugh. I don't post very often (with two kids under the age of 3 and working full time, it's hard) but I do try and read posts often and usually I find myself cracking up at what is being said....its definitely a great stress reliever! [:D]

What a nice post! It's so great to know that we have not just a group of happy regulars but also those who enjoy the site even though they may be less visible. We have a great community here and we all contribute in our own way to make it what it is. Thanks for sharing, rewind!

I clicked on the link in another thread & thought "mmmmmmmm....not today." I can only take so much mental illness in a week.

Well this is a great thread, almost like a soap box for me to get up and say…I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!

Sure I've had run-ins with a few members, but all in all,I have to say this place is okay. From Star Wars geeks to members that that'll share thier interpretations of the song "Go Straight to Hell" by the clash, it's all good. Kudos to New Wave Outpost and Mike P for creating such a great community. A place to rap about music or poitics or download a version of Thomas Dolby's "Radio Silence" that I never knew existed or debating whether or not someone is New Wave or not. IT IS ALL GOOD.

It wouldn't be New Wave Outpost without the clever and always hilarious jabs posted by 86 or Motors "White Trash of the Month Award," or directing stoners to KFC in the middle of the night. The main thing for me is (and much to the chagrin of some members) I really enjoy being turned on to music I've never heard and being inspired to relisten to gems of the past. I spent the better part of a Saturday, limewireing old old Foreigner songs because of a much controversial thread and I found some great stuff.

Anywho, this place does rule Rewind. and in the imortal word of me…"Stay Gold" [;)]
