LAS VEGAS (AP) -- O.J. Simpson was arrested Sunday on charges related to an armed robbery involving sport memorabilia, police said.

Simpson was arrested shortly after 11 a.m. and is being brought to a police office, Capt. James Dillon said. Police are still determining charges against Simpson.
Several police officers were seen entering the hotel where Simpson is staying; a security guard said police took Simpson out a side door shortly after.

At least one other person has been arrested and police said earlier Sunday that as many as six people could be arrested in connection with the alleged armed robbery that occurred in a room inside the Palace Station casino-hotel on Thursday.

Simpson, 60, has said he and other people with him were retrieving items that belonged to him. He told police no guns were involved.

Police said two firearms and other evidence were seized at a private residence early Sunday.

Walter Alexander, 46, of Arizona, was arrested Saturday night on two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery and burglary with a deadly weapon.

He's innocent. This is nothing more than another attempt to keep the black man down.

This trial should be interesting. I wonder if he was wearing gloves?

OJ better have AJ Cowlings warming up the white Bronco.

He does not own the rights to the book anymore. A bankruptcy judge gave the book to the Goldman's.

Here is a quote from CNN:
Simpson recently wrote a book originally titled "If I Did It" and planned to publish it himself, but a public outcry led to the cancellation of his book deal. A bankruptcy judge subsequently awarded the Goldmans the rights to the book in light of their inability to collect the wrongful death award. They retitled the book "If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer," which is in bookstores.

I like the new title.

He'll probably get life in prison for this[:o)]


Seriously, I heard they only get 17 cents per book sold which makes no sense.

I guess I was wrong..no loss, anyway I have better things to keep me occupied than O.J's dealings. He is soooo yesterdays bad news.

I know this may sound like a flippant remark, but Simpson's virtually untouchable right now. It will be an monumental task to select an "impartial" jury should Simpson be charged and tried in court.
