I was checking out another board for a week or two. I really wanted to be a contributer to that board. First nobody would answer any of my posts. Then the board jerk decides to start with me. So first I email him to explain myself and cool him off. He starts calling me names and starting shit. So I ignore him for a few days. Then another poster brings up the subject of me and how he was wrong. The guy starts all over again calling us lovers and shit like that. Now you guys know me. I can unleash holy hell on this guy. So I started my attack and got the thread locked. I really want to hunt this guy down (he is a local) and beat the living crap out of him. I REALLY do. But what I hate the most is my temper. I hate this feeling I have. I could not wait to get home to log in so I could see if anything was said. I think I might take the high road and quit that board because I really want this guy hurt.
I do not have a lot of experience with boards besides this one. Man these boards suck! Thats why I really love it here. And that is also why the nnnw section was a great idea. I think if all boards had a section for off topic stuff, they would be better off.
Now my choices are:
1-ignore the guy (not going to happen)
2- bring in my buddies eight/6 and motors as new members 3- Quit and stop the voices in my head (maybe the best choice)

I think 3 is your best bet. No sense letting yourself get high blood pressure because there's another prick in the world.

If it were me, though, I'd amend 3 to include screwing his wife first. [}:)][:D]

LOL! You guys are funny. I do have issues with bullies. And I really do hate feeling this way. I woke up this morning thinking about it and it went that way all day. I think it will be much healthier if I just quit and don't look back. If I do that I can sleep better because when I get like this...its just not cool. And I know this is just cyberworld and the guy might be 80 years old or something. When I get like this, I build it up so much that it takes all my time thinking about it. And as in the past, when I finally find or confront the person they are totally saying sorry and backing down so I won't bash their head in. And if I just quit the board and don't look back, the feelings will go away fast. I think that is the best thing. Man, for a mellow cool dude, I have buttons. Well, at least I can realize my issues and work on them. I need a drink.

<p align="justify">I'd go with choice numero tres. There's no sense wasting your time and energy thinking about some game - and you do know that's what the Internet boils down to: a game. I'd say quit while you're still ahead. If you opt to make it into a flame war and get all bent outta shape, then it means the other member's words are getting to you. Now, this isn't to say you're gonna let random folks call you out and shit, but you need to view this whole thing with a sense of humour[:D]

That does sound real tempting! And I'm leaning to that but glok has a real good point. All this negativity is not good for me.
