side note: I saw bionic woman last night and actually liked it. Maybe because starbuck is in the show but good show.

Im eagerly anticipating this movie. Too bad Brandon and Bale backed out.

I heard they are doing CGI for this movie.

Yes! I saw previews where a dot-matrixed rendering of a large round battle station - or "death star" if you will - was blown up by a little blinking blip that had to be fired into a tiny vent by some guy with rudimentary psychic powers - or "force" if you will. I guarantee you'll be amazed when you see this new type of imagery generated by these new-fangled computational machines - or "computers" if you will.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this movie. Rumor has it it will follow (loosely) the recent Infinite Crisis storyline (with the OMACs, etc), but we'll see.

The question, as with all superhero movies, is can they retain enough of the essence of the comic-book counterpart to remain true to it (and to reel in the fanboys), yet give it enough charm for widespread appeal.

Much as I love DC, they haven't fared too well in this area in recent years.
