This is just about to the point where it is ridiculous. No music in stores? No making a copy of a cd to keep in your vehicle? What happens if you're in your backyard and have your music on loud enough for a neighbour to hear? They're all nuts if you ask me. If there's 2 cents to be made off something anymore, some greedy slimeball will slit someones throat to get at it. Of the $220,000 judgement the other day, how much is going to the lawyers, how much goes to the record companies and just how much is left over from that for the artist? Christ, ten years from now, if they had their way you wouldn't be able to turn on a radio, mp3 player, television or any other medium that could possibly carry music without first inputting your Visa number on the off chance half a note of a song may be heard. I'm going back to the pyjama thread. I'd better not post my pyjama picture now or the lawyers for the [:)] man may come knocking.

<p align="justify"><quote>Pariser believes in a very broad definition of stealing that is echoed by many supporters in the RIAA. She believes that users who buy songs are entitled to one, and only one copy. Burning CDs is just another name for stealing, in her mind. "When an individual makes a copy of a song for himself, I suppose we can say he stole a song." Making "a copy" of a purchased song is just "a nice way of saying 'steals just one copy'."</quote>

This cunt actually believes there are "many supporters" of the RIAA. How do you steal from yourself?![}:)] I make copies for myself all the fucking time out of my 1500+ album library (albums for which I have forked over my own cash). I suppose it could be said that if I burn a cd for a friend or family member that I'm "stealing" for them (again, from my own music library, which I've paid money for). Strangely enough, I made copies of songs for other people and have turned them onto the band, which led us to go to the band's concerts and buying the band paraphernalia[}:)][}:)] My verdict is that this bitch needs to get layed once and for all so she can stop pondering about what constitutes real theft from fake theft.
