Anybody here have one? Do they work as good as they're supposed to? I'm thinking of getting one.....

It's an interesting concept (never heard of it before), I might get one. It would be a great way to "keep myself abreast of current events" while in the office, if you know what I mean.

It's pretty sweet. I have been using mine for about a year, I really like it, especially handy like eight6 mentions...

Somebody told me you could pick up every station, not just the ones you pay for through your cable TV provider. Is this true? Also, is it possible to record programs to your hard drive with this device?

If you can I don't know how, but, purely for educational purposes, I'd like to know.

Right now I use the Elgato EyeTV. I can record straight to my hard drive but I'm connected via coax cable.

The Slingbox looks good because it's wireless and I could have multiple computers around or out of the house connected at once. But I need to be able to record. I'm gonna see if I could find anything out. Strictly for educational purposes of course. And staying abreast of genuine current events.
