1001 Must-Hear Albums & BTW Americans are Stupid

People must think the latter. How else can one justify the constant watering down of our books and movies versus the Euro versions? Movie endings stupified "so Americans can understand". Books shortened "to serve American attention spans." And now this case in point of a classic bathroom reading book, 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die. The American cover first, followed by the English...

The latter cover - classic! The former - what's the flacking point?! But, maybe I rage over something of no consequence anyway. I think this reviewer says it all:

[long listing of good bands followed by...]
"If you haven't heard of these then you're looking in the wrong place. These were left out in favour of delightful albums by: Christina Aguilera; Britney Spears; Justin Timberlake; Destiny's Child and Coldplay."

I'm not sure how to respond, I lost my focus halfway through your post...

Are these the same Euros that think bright yellow speedos on a 280 lb man at the beach is an acceptable fashion statement?

Ah they're all Commies anyway.

Check this out, Phil. The East Coast seems to have a higher concentration of porkers:

Well, from a marketing point of view I guess I can understandd seeing as how of the 30 or so people at work that have seen the album wall art i made for my office, only one said "oh cool, you've got Kraftwek!" the rest of them just stared at it with blank looks on their faces. They must have focus grouped the hell out of that cover.

And way too clean to actually be functional- more of a museum really. Note the Civil War era monitor next to the Mac tower.

I am damn proud! NY is not even on the list! The rest of the east coast does not count.

I should start taking my work home with me. I literaly have spent hours watching the progress bar as Photoshop rasterizes a 6'x6' illustrator file [:(][:(]

Thanks Edison, It's still a work in progress [;)]

Yeah, tell me about it. I'm like Andy Dufrain over here sending weekly emails to corporate pleading for a new G5[:(][;)]
