You left out the descriptor for the last column: QHC or Quality of Human Condition. I see that the former Upper Volta, Burkina Fasso, comes in at a QHC of 10.7. Burkina Fasso is translated as "land of upright men"...um, I don't think so. [:o)]

I'll take a little less intelligence with freedoms than smarter and oppressed.

How can you be "smarter" (ahem) and oppressed? And if you're "a little less" intelligent, than how do you know if you really have freedom?

Has anyone here taken the tickle IQ test yet? I scored a 131 on it, but I don't put a lot of stock in these things. As long as I'm smart enough not to stick a fork in a light socket, take an asbestos boat onto a lava lake, smear my body with cow blood and walk into a tiger's cage, or take a job at the sewage plant I think I'm doing okay.

I just took the test and scored 140. But now my head hurts. My husband is still laughing from when I told him what I scored. I'm like you shovelbum, common sense will beat out brains any day.
