Hi anyone else sick of this mild winter stuff down south?Do u think it will ever get back to normal cold winer one day?Im in SC and it sucks down here.Any other southerners on here?

We could use a lot of snow here. We are just dreaming about it.

Hey, 80sfreak, I'm in Charleston. I hear ya. I am waffling on the subject. On the one hand,it's annoying not to know what to wear from day to day (scarf, coat, boots one day; skirt, flipflops and cami top the next!), also turning the thermostat from "cool" to "heat" again and again. I think our heat pump is going to have a melt down. lol
After a long hot summer it's nice to cool off, and I enjoy the crispness. BUT I am originally from up North (and West) and so if it's going to be almost 80 degrees today (and it is), I have to bask outside and marvel at that.[;)]

Hi shovelbum im about 50 miles from Mrytle Beach and it will be about 75 to little over that thru thanksgiving which is ridiculous.I wish winter would get back to normal.

Near 60 degrees tomorrow for Thanksgiving. What happened to a little snow and some cold temps?

We're supposed to be in the mid to lower 60s the rest of the week. I'm not kidding when I say my feet are freezing right now. It's weird how quickly your body can get used to climate change. The weekend we moved here, the wind chill where we are from was -3. Now, when it drops below 70 degrees, I freeze to death.

It's been mild here in Salt Lake City too. The ski resorts were hoping to open a week ago, but there's not enough snow. It's starting to cool off, but we need a good storm to come through.

Some of NE's resorts are open and even got about 10"'s last week. Can't wait for it to start dumping!

We are getting 6-8 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow. [:(!]

Just got off the phone with my friend in Chicago, and it's snowing! Expecting 1 to 3 inches for T-Day! (Plus the wind is howling right now as well.)

Come on up to Syracuse. We had about 4 or 5 inches last Friday & are expecting another 4 today & tonight. I can't remember the last time we had snow on Thanksgiving...or Christmas, really.
It just melts after a day or two, but it seems a little colder this year.

Once mid-January hits, all bets are off. We usually get buried, non-stop until March.

I TOTALLY hear you ! I have become such a wimp about the winter. I am originally from Alaska. When I first moved here to New Mexico, I was in heaven. These "winters" were so warm and mild ! But now, years later...I get so chilly so easily...yuk!

BTW, it's been unusually mild here so far this year, like everyone here in the West and South. It's odd. I don't necessarily want to have wintry weather, but this is actually kind of worrisome.
